These frames are based on the latest design by Colin Johanson, noted designer of a number of scale model frame sets.

This items includees the laser-cut parts to build the hull structure of the Dragon sailboat at 48″. The frame set is so designed with two keel depths so a modeller can build this for R/C sailing or as a display model. A laser-engraved deck, with properly spaced and curved deck-planking is included. This is drawn on 1/16″ plywood that can be used as a template for the actual planking or that can simply be stained and used as is.

The bulkheads include a t-rail structure so the boat can be assembled easily. Please note parts for the interior of the cabin and the cockpit are not included.

Here is a view of the parts that you will receive as they are loosely assembled upside down on the included T-rail. Note that the rail itself should be installed on a sturdy, and flat, worktable.
		Here is a view of the cut diagram from which we make the parts. Notice that you can build the model as a scale sailboat or as an R/C sailboat by using the different shapes of the included keel piece and rudder.

These parts are made in Canada from choice birch plywood.
