This is a half ounce bottle of Bob Smith Industries Super Thin INSTA-CURE™ CA Glue. INSTA-CURE™ has a water-thin viscosity that wicks deep into joints by capillary action and cures in a matter of a few seconds. Surfaces to be bonded must be tight fitting and should be held together while you apply the CA around the edges of the seam.

Although CA glue works well, they do give off a vapor that can irritate the nose and eyes, and these fumes can trigger a significant allergic reaction, whose symptoms mimic those of a bad cold or flue. Please read through my page on glue. I no longer use CA glue, preferring two-part epoxy instead. However, if you have a well-ventilated area, CA works very well.

Thin CAs work very well on balsa since they penetrate into the wood and form more than just a surface bond. In fact, CA glue works better when the wood is not completely dry so it is a good glue to use when planking a model ship.
