Corel’s 1:25 scale reproduction is based on plans and photographic documentation of a British 5.5 built around 1950. Kit contains everything necessary for building a beautiful model. Keel and frames are laser-cut plywood and planking is tanganyka. True-to-scale fittings are made of brass, cast metal and wood. A photo-etched brass sheet provides fine detail. Rigging line comes in two diameters. Sailcloth and flags of five yacht clubs (Great Britain, Australia, France, Italy and New York) are also provided. Five sheets of clear plans and detailed instructions make building easy.
