1:8 scale 1933 Bugatti Type 50T – first edition Pocher kit K76

I’m pretty sure this is the finest Pocher model I ever built. A fellow called me up from California and asked me if I could build a model for him. The problem was, the only way he could pay me was with a stack of kits. He said he had six Pocher kits and would give me the five in return for building one of them for him. He said he was getting old and no longer had the strength or dexterity to build these things but wanted just one complete Pocher model in his house. We agreed on making it in “Everest White” and black, the colours of his 1962 Citroen. It was hard finding the colour but I did and the model looked fantastic. This first edition kit had the working differential.
