When you just need that specific model
Our team includes mechanical engineering, diorama fabrication, and a workshop for building complete, large models.
Once completed, we do know how hard it is to move a model around. Our packaging is second to none. We create our own wooden crates and use carriers that are accustomed to working with artwork. If a model is to move from place to place, we use a travel-case fabricator in Canada.
And, of course, everything is Made in Canada.
You will find a couple of case-studies described below.
We worked closely with the ship owner to design and manufacture this model to fit a specific display in their corporate offices. In general, ship builders send rudimentary 1:100 scale models of each ship they build. In this case, the owner wanted something a little more detailed and wanted a specific size.

Triton Timber is a world-class Canadian underwater logging company based in B.C. Canada. The company asked us to build two models of their patented under-water logging machinery. One model went to their offices in B.C. Canada and the other was built with the intention of travelling from trade show to trade show.
The model was manufactured using 3D-printing technology.

This model was built in 2011 specifically for a museum in Toronto, Canada, to commemorate the first flight of the Bleriot XI just over one-hundred years before, in 1910, when Frenchman Compte Jacques de Lesseps, flew his plane over the city.

People often ask me to estimate the value of a model or to tell them whether a model is fit for a museum, “museum quality” as it were.
We were approached recently by a major museum in Montreal and the only requirements they placed on their request was that the model had to fit a certain display case, had to be from the 18th century, and had to have two masts.
So what is a “museum-quality” model? If someone can give me a proper definition, I would be happy to hear it.
