Description
The model was designed with the help of an interesting and detailed 2014 Master’s Thesis study from a student at the University of Southern Denmark. The student made a detailed analysis of a firilla relic, named PTF87, which is found at the Maritime Museum in Vittiriosa, Malta, and we used the study to make an accurate reproduction, in 1/6 scale.
We have carefully recreated the parts and, as the author of the thesis said, the modeller gets to do some “practical archeology” when building our model. I am sure you will enjoy the build as much as we have enjoyed designing the kit for you.
The model is a little over 32″ with the rudder, and has plenty of room for an electric drive. If you decide to buy the model, we will supply you with a copy of the Master’s Thesis in question and we will supply as much other information as we used to design the model.
